INTEGRATED QUANTUM NETWORKS AND CONTROL CO-PROGRAM MANAGER
Senior Lecturer, UNSW Canberra at ADFA
BEng, MEng and PhD, Tokyo (JP)
Dr Yonezawa has completed his Bachelor of Engineering in 2002, his Master of Engineering in 2004, and his PhD in 2007 at the University of Tokyo, Japan. He was then employed at the University of Tokyo as a research associate and then promoted as an assistant professor. In 2013, he was appointed as a senior lecturer at UNSW Canberra at ADFA.
Dr Yonezawa’s research interests lie in quantum optics and quantum information, where he works on experimental realisations of quantum-enhanced protocols and measurements such as quantum teleportation, quantum-enhanced optical phase measurement, quantum parameter estimations, quantum tomography, generation of Non-Gaussian quantum states and creation of Non-Gaussian quantum gates. He has published 31 refereed journal articles that have attracted more than 2000 citations.
